Joanna Kolatsis is Conflict International’s in-house Legal Counsel and joined us in 2019. She is a former partner in two City law firms and has over 20 years’ experience providing legal services to a variety of industries.
Joanna began her legal career as Group General Counsel for a vertically integrated tour operator in 1998. In 2008 she moved into private practice and held two partnership positions at firms in the City of London before setting up her own legal consultancy and strategic advisory business in 2018.
Since qualification Joanna has specialised in company commercial matters and regulatory issues (including regulatory investigations and compliance). Joanna has specific expertise in risk and crisis management and speaks regularly on this topic. This particular skill set allows Joanna to provide strategic advice to assist with brand reputation and business resilience in an effort to reduce exposure to potential claims and aid efficient management of crises when they do arise.
Joanna is a pragmatic and results driven lawyer who helps clients find commercial and practical solutions to their issues in a discreet and efficient manner. Pre-empting and preventing potential problems is something she prides herself in and she works closely with clients to achieve their desired objectives wherever possible.
Joanna has won a number of awards and is a frequent public speaker. She also acts as a non-executive director to various businesses alongside her legal appointments.
