Mike LaCorte discusses private/public synergies at ISAAC
Conflict International’s CEO, Mike LaCorte was invited by Special Agent Terrence Fox to speak at the 2nd quarter partner meeting of the North Carolina Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (ISAAC) this week.
At the meeting, Mike spoke about Private Sector International Investigations and private/public sector synergies in investigations. In the UK and generally throughout Europe, relationships between the private and public sectors vary. However, the private sector is made up of highly trained investigators with skills that can be leveraged by the public sector to support a wide variety of investigations. Engaging in open communications between the public and private sector is a way forward to assist law enforcement in investigating cases such as fraud, ultimately leading to better outcomes for all. At Conflict International, we are huge supporters of developing and growing private/public relationships.
Following Mike’s presentation, Special Agent Fox added that ‘Creating further synergy between the public and private sectors is, and has been, a long-standing goal of all of us here. We believe only good can come from both sectors working closer together. To have an international organisation such as Conflict International as a partner is a tremendous step forward for us, and we look forward to this partnership continuing to grow.’
