Conflict International gain Swiss Arbitration Association recognition

London based intelligence and technical counter-surveillance measures specialists Conflict International have become the first organisation in the specialist security sector to appear on the Hub of the Geneva based Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA). The Swiss Arbitration Hub is an online platform for the practical organisation of hearings in Switzerland and is used by arbitration practitioners to formally arrange hearings and select providers of various support offerings including venues, interpreters, court reporters, video services and eDiscovery services.

Conflict International’s services can now be selected by ASA members as a provider of Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM), offering electronic and physical security ‘sweeps’ of meeting rooms and break out areas prior to and during high value arbitration negotiations.

Our Director of Compliance and Development, Roger Bescoby, commented: “We are incredibly proud to announce this association and to be recognised by the ASA as a TSCM provider. Given that the ASA Member practitioners handle global arbitrations at the very highest level imaginable, such events demand technical security to the same standards, not least because we know there is a direct correlation between quantum and an increased eavesdropping risk.

Our technical teams have decades of experience in securing neutral locations typically utilised for arbitration discussions, such as hotel suites. Commonly, the risk arises due to such areas of a venue being publicly available and accessible in the hours directly leading up to arbitration occupation. Our services protect our clients from the risk of the opposition being ‘present’ during the most sensitive of their tactical negotiations.”
